DESCRIPTION:Westpac Rescue Overview and Q&A at the HobartAirport RotorLift Hangar.  \n\n\n\nRotorLift rescue will explain for RAAFA members the best procedures for survival andretrieval should you get in trouble bushwalking\, boating\, flying or simply remote working. \n\n\n\n\nMore extreme rescues from Westpac Helicopter Rescue discussing rugged terrain andwater extraction with further Q&A. Try on the rescue harness\, look over the Jet enginesand controls\, grab a “selfie” with the big machine.\n\n\n\nParamedics outline your survival chances in water\, snow or lost in the bush overnight.\n\n\n\nRole play inside a static interactive Jet Ranger helicopter to give you a different perspective.\n\n\n\nThree lucky RAAFA members will win from their door ticket a Hobart City scenic flown ina RotorLift Jet Ranger helicopter as a highlight to wrap their visit.

SUMMARY:ANZAC Day - Hobart Branch
DESCRIPTION:RAAFA members will participate in the Hobart Anzac Day Parade.  Meet at the Memorial Centre at 9.30am\, assemble in Macquarie Street opposite Legacy House for an 11am step off and march to the Cenotaph.  Medals may be worn.  A BBQ lunch and drinks at the Memorial Centre at the conclusion of the parade. Veteran transport for the parade can be arranged through the State Secretary. \n\n\n\nThe Memorial Centre will be open from 0930 hrs for those who are not able to march but who would like to watch the ceremonies. Coffee\, Tea and a biscuit or two will be available.
